Sharonville is a city in Butler County and Hamilton County in the U.S. state of Ohio. At the time of the 2000 census, the city had a total of 13,840 inhabitants.

History

The first settlers reached the area that is now Sharonville 1788-1792. Bought 1791 Henry Runyan first country to pieces. The new settlement was named Sharon, named after a small town in Pennsylvania named and divided into 71 plots of land for a total of 47 settlers.

1872 Sharon was connected to the railway network, before the place was renamed in 1876 in Sharonville, since it had come into conflict with another town called Sharon in eastern Ohio. 1962 a total of 5,000 people lived in Sharonville, after which the town got its town charter. Today, more than 13,800 people live in Sharonville.
