Shaul Rosolio

Saul rosolio ( born August 12, 1923 in Tel Aviv, † March 1992 ) was an Israeli ambassador.

Life

His parents were Dora Arlosoroff, a sister of Chaim Arlosoroff, and David rosolio (* in Hamburg). From 1942 to 1946, Saul rosolio member of the Haganah and the Jewish Settlement Police. In 1948, he joined the newly founded Mischteret Yisrael, at the time was on different spots, and made fast career. In 1961 he was appointed commander of the police in Jerusalem. Rosolio was 1972-1976 commander of the Israeli police and border guards. After his retirement from the police, he was in 1977 Israeli Ambassador to Mexico. Rosolio was accredited after the death of Ernesto Love in January 1979 and in El Salvador. On December 11, 1979 bombing of the Israeli Embassy in San Salvador was performed, after which it was closed. Saul rosolio died in 1992 of a myocardial infarction.
