Shawn Thornton

Shawn Thornton ( born July 23, 1977 in Oshawa, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently with the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

The 1.85 m wide winger started his professional career with the Peterborough Petes in the Canadian Junior Football League OHL before he selected at the NHL Entry Draft in 1997 as 190th in the seventh round by the Toronto Maple Leafs ( drafted ) was.

Already in the coming season, the Maple Leafs put the right handed one in their farm team, the St. John 's Maple Leafs, in the American Hockey League, but without him to use in the next four years in the NHL.
