Shawn Toovey

Shawn Toovey ( born March 1, 1983 in Lincoln, Nebraska) is an American film actor.


Shawn Toovey, whose parents are professional truckers, stood from 1991 in smaller TV movies before the camera, among other things, with Lesley Ann Warren, Brian Dennehy, Marcia Gay Harden and Chris Cooper as co-star. His most famous film role was that of Brian Cooper in the television series " Dr. Quinn - Medicine Woman ", a character he from 1993 to 1998, and in two specials, in 1999 and 2001, embodied. Four times Shawn was awarded the Young Artist Award, nominated three more times for the award.

From August 2001 to May 2005 was Toovey student at the University of Nebraska, where he earned his bachelor's degree in journalism and film studies.

Since 2007 he has been married to his wife Marianne, they live both in Florida and in California. In February 2009, their daughter was born.
