Shchara River

The Shchara (White Russian Шчара, Russian Щара ) is a 325 km long river in the Woblaszen Brest and Grodno in Belarus. The river rises about 5 kilometers north of the city Baranovitchi (White Russian Барановичи ), on the Nawahrudak - ups from the lake Koldytschewa in Rajon Baranovitchi and flows about 12 kilometers east of the city Masty, southwest of the village Daschkautsy in Rajon Masty in the Memel.

The largest tributaries are the Shchara Myschanka, Lipnjanka, Wedsma, Lasochwa, Hryuda, Lukoniza, Sipa.

Riverside are two reservoirs: Tschamjalynskaje Reservoir 14 km northwest of the city Iwazewitschy and Damanauskaje dam at the mouth of the river Hryuda in the Shchara.
