All out of love (Original Title: She's So Lovely ) is an American- French Love Stories of 1997 by Nick Cassavetes. The film stars Robin Wright Penn and Sean Penn.

Action

Eddie and Maureen get to know in the 1970s and married. One day, Eddie is not at home, invites the neighboring pine the pregnant Maureen for a few drinks and then they tried to rape her. Maureen is able to escape and lying to Eddie, who asks about her injuries that she had fallen down. Eddie finds out the truth and beating jaw. Maureen desperately calls in a mental hospital, after which two nurses try to take Eddie. However, he shoots down one of the nurses and is promptly arrested and taken to a mental hospital.

When Eddie is released from the prison after ten years, Maureen is married to wealthy businessman Joey Germoni and has three children. Her oldest daughter is from her pregnancy with Eddie. This is now trying to regain Maureen. She realizes that she still loves Eddie and decides to leave Joey and their children and to begin a new life with Eddie.

Background

The Los Angeles rotated with a budget of $ 18 million comedy playing in U.S. cinemas on about 7.3 million dollars.

Reviews

Mick LaSalle wrote in the San Francisco Chronicle, the love story was different than usual romantic love movies. She is a lyric, unrealistic, weird structured. James Berardinelli found the film change the understanding of family and love. Most of the characters can you not like. The play of Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn, however, help to overlook screenplay weaknesses.

The lexicon of the International film said that the film is trying to explore what together hold a pair of lovers. He was supported by the " excellent " performers, although the lead actress disappoint.

Awards

Sean Penn and Thierry Arbogast won 1997 Awards of the International Film Festival of Cannes, the film also took the competition for the Palme d'Or in part. Thierry Arbogast was also nominated in 1997 for the CamerImage. Robin Wright Penn was nominated for the 1998 Screen Actors Guild Award.
