Sheela
Sheela ( Malayalam: ഷീല, born March 22, 1942 in Thrissur, Kerala ) is an Indian actress of Malayalam film.
Career
Her film debut was in 1962 in Bhagya Jatakam directed by P. Bhaskaran. In the 1960s and 70s, she played alongside Sathyan, Madhu and Prem Nazir. With the latter, it formed a long-time on-screen couple, they performed together in more than 100 films.
One of the highlights of your career was the female lead in Ramu Kariats color film Chemmeen (1965 ), which is considered a milestone of Malayalam cinema. She tried to sit as a director ( Sikharangal, 1979). After 1979, it was not active as a film actress over 20 years. In Manassinakkare ( 2003), she had a comeback.
She was awarded the 2005 National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for the film Akale.
