Sheila Herrero Lapuente
Sheila Herrero Lapuente ( born June 28, 1976 in Zaragoza ) is a former Spanish inline Speedskaterin.
On 1 October 1980, she skated for the first time. Ten years later, she won her first Euro title. In its first speed skating World Championships in Gujan -Mestras on August 29, 1994 managed the feat equal to fetch two gold medals and indeed over 1,500 m and 5,000 m in the points race. A victory in the largest inline race in the world, the Berlin Marathon, she won in 2001.
In total, she won 15 world titles, was 36 - times European Champion, and 88- times national champion. On 1 October 2003 Herrero announced her retirement from competitive sport.
