Sheila Kelley (American actress)

Kelley is the youngest of nine children of an engineer. She studied first at the New York University Tisch School of the settled Arts, then at the School for Film and Theatre. Finally, she graduated from the Film School. In the 1980s she was a member of the theater company The Elephant Company.

She starred in the film comedy Singles - Lonely together (1992 ) alongside Bridget Fonda, Campbell Scott and Kyra Sedgwick one of the major roles. In the movie One Fine Day (1996 ) she starred opposite Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney in the movie Nurse Betty (2000) with Morgan Freeman and Renee Zellweger. In the film Dancing at the Blue Iguana (2000), she took over beside Daryl Hannah one of the major roles, they also acted as a film producer. She was also from 1990 to 1993 can be seen in the television series LA Law, from 1995 to 1996 in the television series Sisters.

Kelley is married to actor Richard Schiff since 1996 and has two children.
