Shelda Bede

Shelda Kelly Bruno Bede ( born January 1, 1973 in Fortaleza, Brazil ) is a former Brazilian beach volleyball player, two-time world champion and two -time silver medalist at the Olympic Games.

Career

First played Shelda Bede Indoor Volleyball, at the age of 18 she moved to the sand. After three unsuccessful qualifications to FIVB tournaments with Isabel Solgado Shelda denied end of 1995, her first tournament with Adriana Behar. Since then the two Brazilians won 31 FIVB tournaments, twice the world championships in 1999 and 2001. 1999, the two South Americans were also winners at the Pan American Games. At the Olympic Games in 2000 and 2004 Shelda / Adriana reached the final, but subject both times.
