Shellac (band)

Shellac (sometimes referred to as Shellac of North America ) is a founded around 1992 in Chicago, Illinois American noise rock / post- hardcore band. The band's style is characterized by minimalism, precision, dissonances and driving bass lines and rhythms. Guitarist Steve Albini has primarily as a producer well-known bands such as Nirvana, Pixies, Helmet and achieved fame. The bassist Bob Weston is next Shellac best known for his involvement in the Volcano Suns and Mission of Burma.
