Shellfish

Shellfish or shellfish is an obsolete term for shell molluscs, a sub- tribe of the molluscs. You have been part of the Old Stone Age to the foods. Their shells are found in so-called Køkkenmøddingern.

In the kitchen, language, the term has retained. There, especially edible clams and water live snails are understood to include occasionally also counted among the echinoderms sea urchins and crustaceans such as lobster, etc. Kitchen Linguistically not counted to shellfish cephalopods such as cuttlefish and squid, although they biologically belong to the tribe of the shell molluscs.
