Shen Yanfei

Shen Yanfei ( born December 24, 1979 in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province) is a Spanish table tennis player of Chinese origin. In 2008 she received the Spanish citizenship and multiple Spanish champion in singles. 2008 and 2012 she participated in Beijing and in London at the Olympics.

At the European Championships in 2013 in Schwechat, Austria she dropped the singles in the quarter-finals with 0-4 records against the later European champion Li Fen from Sweden from. In the women's doubles she reached after a 3:4 defeat in the semi-final against the later German European Champions Shan Xiaona and Zhenqi Barthel on the side of her compatriot Sara Ramírez a bronze medal.

Shen's most successful years before 2013 was 2010: She won the Korea Open, defeating there the two top ten players Feng Tianwei and Li Jia Wei, both competed for Singapore. In March and April 2013 Shen reached their highest-ever world ranking placement with rank 6.

German Bundesliga

The early 2000s, Shen Yanfei was active in the Bundesliga. From Coming TT Turin ( Italy), she starred in the 2000 /01 season at the club Assistance Coesfeld, then she moved in 2002 to Spain one year in FC Langweid before.

Private

Since 2010 Shen Yanfei is a mother of a child.
