Sherlock Holmes Museum

The Sherlock Holmes Museum is a privately owned museum in London. The museum is located in Baker Street near Regent's Park. It was opened on 27 March 1990.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson lived by Arthur Conan Doyle from about 1881 to 1904 in this house. The specified as Sherlock Holmes ' residence house number 221B is pure fiction, because in those days the houses were numbered only up to 100.

On the first floor there is a framed, according to the detective stories replica of the famous work room, which they shared nearly 25 years. Next to the bedroom of Sherlock Holmes is said to have been found; Dr. Watson's bedroom should have, located on the backyard, on the second floor of the house next to Mrs. Hudson. Both rooms are used as exhibition spaces.

On the third floor scenes from various Sherlock Holmes novels to be adjusted. Thus one finds a doll of Professor Moriarty or a diorama about the Hound of the Baskervilles.

In the ground floor next to the entrance door to the board in which a Bobby takes guests stylishly in reception, a shop in which you can find souvenirs around Sherlock Holmes and London.
