Sherry Hormann

Life

Hormann is the former IBM manager and management consultant John Hormann 's daughter ( born in Munich) and a German painter. Since 1966 she has lived in Germany, where they went to school and finished high school. From 1979 to 1983 she studied at the University of Television and Film Munich. Subsequently, she worked as an assistant director and continuity in various television and feature film productions. Since 1986 she works as a director, screenwriter and film production designer. In addition, she has worked as a lecturer at the IFS Cologne.

She was married to the director Dominik Graf, with whom she has a daughter. In October 2011, she married cinematographer Michael Ballhaus.
