Sheshonk IV

Sheshonk IV was Pharaoh (king) of 23 dynasties in ancient Egypt. His reign is set to about 809/806 bis 803/800 BC. Its existence is hardly assured.

On a Nilstandsmarke from Karnak a pharaoh Sheshonk with the throne name Rich in Maat, a Re and the epithet beloved of Amun is mentioned in the time of the high priest Takelot.
