Shijonawate (Japanese四条 畷 市, -shi ) is a city in the prefecture of Osaka in Japan.

Shijonawate is located east of Osaka.
History
1348 Battle of Shijonawate took place here, in the army of Nordhofs defeated the Südhofs.
Shijonawate was established on 1 July 1970.
