Shikoku Railway Company

The Shikoku Railway Company (Japanese四 国 旅客 鉄 道 株式会社, Shikoku ryokaku tetsudō kabushiki gaisha, in short: JR四 国, JR Shikoku ) is one of the seven successor in 1987 privatized Japanese National Railways. It operates the formerly state-owned power on the island of Shikoku.

History

JR Shikoku was established on 1 April 1987, after the state railway company of Japan was privatized and split.
