Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty ( born June 8, 1975 in Mangalore, Karnataka ) is an Indian actress and model.

Life

Shilpa Shetty is the eldest daughter of Surendra and Sunanda Shetty, manufacturers of accessories for the pharmaceutical industry. She attended St. Anthony High School for Girls and later the Podar College in Matunga in Mumbai. With an education as a Bharatanatyam dancer, she was also active in sports. She was captain of the volleyball team at school and had a black belt in karate. Shetty's younger sister Shamita Shetty is also a Bollywood actress. They worked together once in the film Fareb in 2005. After taking part in the British Celebrity Big Brother TV show in 2007, Shetty was at 63 % of the vote in the final vote winner.
