Shimen District

Shimen, Shimen also, (Chinese石门 区, pinyin Shimen Qū, PEH oē - jī Chio̍h - mng Khu ) is the northernmost district of the city of New Taipei City in northern Taiwan, Republic of China. The Cape Fugui situated in its territory is the northernmost point of the island of Taiwan.

Location and meaning

Shimen borders in the southwest and southeast to the neighboring districts Sanzhi or Jinshan and in the north to the East China Sea.
