Shinji Matsuura

Shinji Matsuura (Japanese松浦 进 二, Shinji Matsuura; * February 15, 1964 in Shiga Prefecture ) is a former badminton player from Japan.

Career

Shinji Matsuura qualified in the men's doubles with Shuji Matsuno for the Olympic Summer Games 1992. Both won in the first round against the South Africans Nico sea timber and Anton Kriel 2-0 sets. In the next round they won against Chan Siu Kwong and Ng Pak Kum Hong Kong just as clearly in two sentences. In the quarterfinals, they lost Razif Sidek and Jalani Sidek of Malaysia with 5:15 and 4:15, so that at the end of 5th place was recorded.

National were both in double in 1983 and 1985 to 1992 successfully. Matsuura also still won the men's singles every two years between 1986 and 1990.
