Shizuishan

Shizuishan (Chinese石嘴山 市, pinyin Shizuishan Shì ) is a prefecture-level city on the west bank of the Yellow River in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the People's Republic of China nationality. Shizuishans administrative region occupies the entire northern tip of the Autonomous Region. It is bordered to the west, north and east by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and to the south by the Yinchuan, the capital Ningxias.

The city was founded on January 7, 1960 and is (coal) for their mining known.

Administrative Divisions

At county level, Shizuishan is made up of two districts and one county. These are:

  • Municipality Dawukou (大 武 口 区), 1007 km ², 230,000 inhabitants, center, seat of the city government;
  • Municipality Huinong (惠 农 区), 1088 km ², 200,000 inhabitants;
  • Circle Pingluo (平罗县), 2608 km ², 290,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Chengguan (城关 镇).
