Shizuka Yamamoto

Shizuka Yamamoto (山 本 静香Japanese, Yamamoto Shizuka, born December 5, 1975 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese badminton player.

Career

Shizuka Yamamoto, in 2004 together with Seiko Yamada part in women's doubles at the Summer Olympic Games in Athens. However, she lost already in round one and was therefore 17 in the final. In the years 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2004, she was Japanese champion in doubles. In 2003, she won the bronze medal at the World Championships in women's doubles.
