Shkodran Mustafi

Shkodran Mustafi (* April 17, 1992 in Bad Hersfeld ) is a German football player who is under contract with the Italian first division club Sampdoria since January 2012.

Clubs

The son of Albanian parents grew up in Bebra and began at the local 1 FV Bebra playing football. About the SV Rotenburg, initially still in the storm, he decided in 2006 - had responded after several Bundesliga after an indoor tournament with Rotenburg him - for a change in the football boarding school of Hamburger SV. In the following season 2013/14 he played 22 of 38 league games over 90 minutes and scored on 26 October 2013 ( 9th Round ) with the winning goal to make it 1-0 in the home match against Atalanta Bergamo his first goal in Serie A.

National

His career as a player selection began Shkodran Mustafi 2003 DFB - base Bad Hersfeld. In the fall of 2009, he also took part in the U -17 World Cup in Nigeria, but in which the team was eliminated in the second round already. In the following three years, he went through all other DFB - selected teams. On March 24, 2013 Mustafi debuted in the U-21 national team, which beat the selection of Israel 2-1 in Tel Aviv. In June of the same year he was part of the German squad for the U -21 Football Championship in 2013 in Israel, with which he, however, was eliminated in the first round and only enters a tournament game.

On February 28, 2014 Mustafi was nominated by coach Joachim Loew for the test international match of the national team against the selection of Chile, was there but not used.
