Shoalhaven Scheme#Fitzroy Falls Reservoir

The Fitzroy Falls Reservoir is a reservoir southwest of Wollongong in the south east of the Australian state of New South Wales in the coastal mountains. The lake is fed by Yarrunga Creek and serves the energy of Greater Wollongong.

The water from the Fitzroy Falls Reservoir is fed via the 3300 m long Wildes Meadow Canal to Burrawang pumping station and from there via the 2830 m long tunnel Burrawang and the 1000 m long Burrawang Canal to the Wingecarribee Reservoir. From there it passes over the Wingecarribee River in the drinking water supply of Sydney.

The settlement Burrawang is located about 4 km from the northern tip of the lake. The settlement Fitzroy Falls is located approximately 0.9 km south-west of the lake.
