The film Strike Team 1917 is a German war film. He is a Nazi propaganda film of 1934 after parts of the novel Faith in Germany by Hans Zoberlein.

The film depicts the everyday life of the German soldiers of World War I on the front and in the trenches on the Western Front. The film was in his time a major box office success with millions of viewers. The original rolls and the footage were long considered lost. Finally, the film was reconstructed. With the help of the Federal Film Archive and private collectors a full picture and sound version was compiled. For DVD this was again reduced by half an hour.
