Shonn Greene ( born August 21, 1985) is an American professional American football player in the position of running backs. He plays for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League ( NFL). He played college football for the University of Iowa and was selected by the New York Jets in the third round of the NFL Draft 2009.

High School Career

Greene attended Winslow Township High School in Atco, New Jersey. There he first played as a running back and linebacker. In his first year he reached 18 touchdowns and 1,267 yards in 221 attempts. The following year he reached 16 touchdowns and 1,378 yards in 172 attempts, moreover, he recorded a record with 191 career tackles and a turnover on the defensive. He finished his high school career with 4,266 yards erlaufene, 43 touchdowns and 503 attempts.

College career

Greene attended the University of Iowa, but there was missing the entire 2007 season because he was working in a furniture store to pay his tuition at Kirkwood Community College. There he studied to increase back to Iowa to his grade point average before the transfer. He won the 2008 Doak Walker Award, so he became the first player of Iowa, who won this award and the first player who did not make it despite victory in the team last season. After winning the Hawkeyes on 1 January 2009 the Outback Bowl announced Greene, he would go to the NFL. Shonn Greene has been explored on this year, the only one in any game over 100 yards.

Professional career

Greene was selected in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. After he suffered a rib injury in the preseason, he had to suspend the first season games and was able to slowly establish a team. As a replacement for Thomas Jones, he latched on to in the regular season total of 540 yards and scored two touchdowns. During the play-offs Greene could be significantly increased and reached a total of 304 yards in three games.
