Shoot

Descended (plural shoots or sprouts ) refers to the stem axis and consisting of leaves, usually above ground growing, part of the corm ( organizational form of vascular plants ). The located directly above the bottom portion is the offspring of reason. Sometimes new growth is referred to as a young sprout or young shoot.

The shoot consists of the stem axis and the leaves.

  • The shoot axis is the rod-shaped part in which in the majority of cases, the vascular bundles to the water line and the sugar transportation. It consists of several sections, the internodes.
