The airline Shorouk Air ( also Shorouq Air) was established in September 1992 as a joint venture of Egypt Air and Kuwait Airways. Basic maintenance and operation took place in Cairo. The flight was closed down in 2003.

History

1992 charter flights from Western Europe were taken to Egypt, as well as scheduled flights to the Middle East. Two Airbus A320s were leased to Oasis Airlines and Trans Alsace in the spring of 1994.
