Short shifter
A short shifter (English: Short Shifter ) is used in cars with manual transmission to shift travel to shorten during gear changes. The standard built stick shift is replaced by a heavy weight shift knob with altered leverage, in addition, the shift lever can be edited or replaced accordingly. This measure ensures that at the end of the stick shift on which the shift knob must be seated when changing gears a lesser way back down. Have proved to values of 60-80% of the original circuit path. In less the force required is usually too great and the switching path imprecise.
