Shoulder

As the shoulder region of the body is referred to the shoulder joints in vertebrates, including humans. It consists of the bones of the shoulder girdle, the head of the humerus and the soft tissues surrounding them.

The shoulder is divided into the anatomy in four regions:

• Front shoulder area ( trigone clavipectorale )
• Lateral shoulder region ( Regio deltoidea )
• Posterior shoulder region ( Regio scapularis ) and the
• Armpit.

The front shoulder area is part of the chest, the back -to-back.
