Showa (fish)

The Shōwa Sanshoku or Showa Sanke (Japanese昭和 三 色, literally " Shōwa Tri-color ") is a Nishikigoi (锦鲤, short form Koi ), a colored carp. He has a black base color, red spots (Hi ,绯" Scarlet", also火'fire' written ) and white spots (白Shiro ). In traditional Shōwa Red is the dominant color, with black and white are approximately in balance.

  • Hi Shōwa (火 昭和) - continuous, large-scale red from head to tail, a uniform black ( Sumi ,墨" ink" ) as a Utsuri and very little white
  • Boke Showa - the Sumi is washed out and the transitions are not sharply defined, it works by more gray
  • Tancho Showa (丹 顶 昭和) - circular Hi ( red) on the head
  • Kindai Showa (近代 昭和, kindai ie "modern" ) - white color predominates
  • Koromo Showa - Black goes on in red mesh pattern
  • Doitsu Showa (独 昭和, literally " German Shōwa " ) - a cross with a German carp, has a leathery skin without scales
