Shrine of `Abdu'l-Bahá

The Shrine of Abdul- Baha is a separate division in the Shrine of the Bab in the Israeli port city of Haifa, where the mortal remains of Abdul- Baha, a Persian scribes and the eldest son of the founder of the religion of Baha'u'llah, are kept. His body is kept in the first of nine rooms on the north side of the famous religious building on Mount Carmel. As part of their pilgrimage Bahai can pray there. There is also a special visit to prayer, of which an English- and Persian-language copy is in the room for this purpose. The construction of our own sacred building for the tomb of Abdul- Baha is planned for the future to meet the ever increasing pilgrims and visitors meet.
