Shuji Matsuno

Shuji Matsuno (Japanese松 野 修 二, Matsuno Shuji; born September 11, 1963 in Yamanashi Prefecture ) is a former badminton player from Japan.

Career

Matsuno qualified in the men's doubles with Shinji Matsuura for the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. In the first round both won against the South Africans Nico sea timber and Anton Kriel 2-0 sets. In the next round they won against Chan Siu Kwong and Ng Pak Kum Hong Kong just as clearly in two sentences. In the quarterfinals, they lost Razif Sidek and Jalani Sidek of Malaysia with 5:15 and 4:15, so that at the end of 5th place was recorded.

National were both in double in 1983 and 1985 to 1992 successfully. Matsuno additionally still won the men's singles in 1989 and 1991. Matsuno 1988 and Matsuura third at the Olympic Games, where badminton was performed as Vorführsportart.
