Si Somdet District

Amphoe Si Somdet ( Thai: อำเภอ ศรี สมเด็จ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Roi Et Roi Et The province is located in Isaan, the northeast region of Thailand.

Geography

Amphoe Si Somdet borders the following districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Mueang Roi Et to and Chaturaphak Phiman in the province of Roi Et, Amphoe Wapi Pathum, and to the, Kae Dam and Mueang Maha Sarakham Maha Sarakham Province.

History

Si Somdet was on 1 April 1987 initially as a small district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the five Tambon Pho Thong, Si Somdet, Mueang Plueai, Nong Yai and Suan Chik were separated from Amphoe Mueang Roi Et. On July 4, 1994, he was promoted to Amphoe.

Administrative units

Amphoe Si Somdet in eight communities ( tambon) divided, in turn, in 852 communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There are also eight - Tambon administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
