Siam Paragon

Siam Paragon is a shopping mall in Pathum Wan district of Bangkok, Thailand. It has been dubbed "The Pride Of Bangkok ".

General Information

Siam Paragon is located on the site of the former Siam Intercontinental hotels. The site is owned by the Crown Property Bureau and was once a royal park of the nearby Sra Pathum Palace - (lotus pond palace ). It was opened after three years of construction, with a large celebration on December 9, 2005. Construction costs amounted to 15 billion baht (309 million euros at December 2005). In addition to the Emporium Shopping Center at Sukhumvit Road, it is considered the most exclusive shopping paradise in Bangkok. The management of the facility is responsible for a joint venture of The Mall Group ( also manages the Emporium ) and Bangkok InterContinental Hotels Co. (Thailand).

Location

Siam Paragon is known at the Rama I Road in central Bangkok in the district Pathum Wan, a district because of its many shopping and entertainment venues: opposite the Paragon, the Siam Square is full of restaurants and cinemas, next door, Siam Center and Siam Discovery Center and across from the Maboonkrong Center.

Siam Paragon is easy to reach by public transport BTS Skytrain, it is connected via a pedestrian bridge directly to the BTS station Siam.

Facilities

At 500,000 square meters, there are countless shops and boutiques as well as the department store Siam Paragon department store. Almost every known luxury brand, no matter what part of the world, is offered here. Visitors and tourists from other Asian countries, especially Japan and Hong Kong, would love to come to purchase luxury products to well-known manufacturers to Bangkok. These are usually much cheaper in Thailand.

In Siam Paragon, there are 16 theaters, 52 bowling lanes and a gym.

With the Royal Paragon Hall, it has a complete exhibition and event center with three halls, five rooms for meetings, business center and a VIP lounge.

In the two lower floors there is the Siam Ocean World. This aquarium is home to over 30,000 animals, an artificial reef, a shark tank and a 4D cinema.
