Sibérie m'était contéee

Sibérie m'était contéee [sic ] or Siberie m'etait contéee [sic ] ( fr.: " [History of ] Siberia was told " ) is so far the third studio album in the solo career of Manu Chao. It was released in 2004 and is the first time for Chao only from songs in French. This book is really just a CD insert a social and socio-critical children's book with drawings by Jacek Wozniak and lyrics by Manu Chao. It was sold in relatively small numbers almost exclusively in France.

The songs on the album, such as Petite blonde du Boulevard Brune, reflect much on Paris and life in this city. The piece Helno est mort ( " Helno is dead" ) is in turn to his friend Helno ( Noël Rota ), who has died from a drug overdose singer of Les Vertes negresses dedicated.
