Sichtungsgarten Weihenstephan

The Weihenstephaner Perennial Gardens is an educational and experimental garden in the district of Freising Weihenstephan.

Description

The garden was founded in 1947 by Richard Hansen covers an area of ​​about 5 hectares. In the public teaching and experimental garden extensive herbaceous and woody plant assortments and Rose innovations are tested for their utility value in gardens and parks ( spotted ). In addition to flower abundance, stability and other optical properties while the resilience of individual varieties to diseases and pests plays an essential role.
