Siddhartha Mukherjee

Siddhartha Mukherjee (born 1970 in New Delhi, India) is an American- Indian writer, physician and scientist.

For the book The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer ( in German The king of all diseases: cancer - a biography ), he won awards including the Pulitzer Prize for nonfiction in 2011. The book has also been declared by Time magazine as one of the 100 best non-fiction books for 100 years and was honored as a knowledge book of 2012. Dieter Moor wrote the book on the show ttt - titel, theses, temperaments as " literary miracle " means.

Currently (as of 2012) works Mukherjee as an assistant professor at Columbia University and a physician at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City.
