Sidewinder-Arcas

Sidewinder Arcas is the name of a two-stage sounding rocket, consisting of a Sidewinder launch stage and an upper stage Arcas. The Sidewinder Arcas has a peak altitude of 90 km, a takeoff thrust of 26.4 kN, a launch mass of 120 kg, a diameter of 0.13 m and a length of 4.80 m. Between 1966 and 1975 18 starts were performed, two of which have failed.
