Siebensteinkopf

The Siebensteinkopf ( 1,263 m ) is a mountain at the southeastern edge of the Bavarian Forest National Park on the border with the Czech Republic. To the north is the location already in the Czech Republic Straz ( 1308 m).

Not far from the border crossing provides Finsterau / Bučina all year round for hikers, cyclists and cross-country skiers the opportunity to get into the Bohemian Forest, where you have to endorse the identity card here.

At the top there is a wooden cross on the summit with modest outlook, are slightly below those scattered seven rocks that gave the mountain its name. Lead to Siebensteinkopf some trails, all of which begin in Finsterau and example of the Reschbachklause ( small lake ) or run across the Devil's hermitage to the summit.
