From Siebmacher itself only the coat of arms book of 1596 (19 coat of arms plaques with engravings by Dürer Frederick ) and the Newe armorial ... which in two volumes in the years 1605 (264 sheets ) or 1609 (164 tablets ) came was issued. More parts and supplementary volumes were until 1806 - partly by other names - published ( see, eg, Weigel cal armorial ). A total of about 19,000 coats of arms were shown as part of the project.

Based on the work in 1854 a comprehensive coat of arms collection was published under the title New Siebmacher. Reprints were made until the 20th century.
