Siegfried Herrmann

Siegfried Herrmann ( born November 7, 1932 in Unterschönau, Thuringia ) is a German track and field athlete and Olympian, who in the 1950s and 1960s - was a successful middle and long distance runners - starting for the GDR.

Life

As a starter in the All-German Olympic team in 1956 in Melbourne Herrmann suffered in the flow above 1500 m an Achilles tendon injury and retired.
