Siegfried Jerusalem
Siegfried Jerusalem ( born April 17, 1940 in Oberhausen, at times, even under the stage name: Siegfried Salem) is a German singer (tenor ).
Life
Siegfried Jerusalem, the son of an electrical engineer, studied 1955-1960 at the Folkwang School in Essen Bassoon and Piano (minor violin ). In 1961 he was engaged as first bassoonist with the Hofer Symphoniker, 1962 at the Swabian Symphony Orchestra Reutlingen. 1971-77 he played as second bassoonist of the Radio Symphony Orchestra Stuttgart.
Parallel to this commitment was Jerusalem from 1961 to train his tenor voice at Hertha Kalcher.
