Siegfried Schneider (politician)

Siegfried Schneider ( born April 7, 1956 in upper cell ) is a German politician ( CSU). He served as Minister of State Head of the Bavarian State Chancellery. He was from 2007 to 2011 District Chairman of the CSU Upper Bavaria. As the responsible minister for media Schneider was also chairman of the Media Campus Bavaria in November 2011, he is Deputy Chairman. Since October 1, 2011 Schneider is president of the Bavarian Regulatory Authority for Commercial Broadcasting.

Education and work

After graduation in 1975 at the Reuchlin -Gymnasium Ingolstadt Schneider did his military service with the Pioneers in Ingolstadt, then he took at the Catholic University of Eichstätt studying to become teachers at elementary schools on ( 1977-1980 ). Policy

His political career began in 1977 with the entry into the CSU. 1985 Schneider was elected to the county board of the CSU in the district of Eichstätt, 1987 CSU local chairman and in 1990 the municipal council of his residence Wettstetten.
