Siegfried Voigt

Siegfried Voigt ( born October 3, 1950 in Schneeberg ) is a former German handball player.

The goalkeeper played in the DDR - Oberliga for BSG bismuth Aue (including with Dietmar Schmidt and Harry Zoernack ) and the SC Leipzig. With the East German national team, he was at the World Cup ( World Cup ) in 1974 and second in the 1978 World Cup third parties. However, the biggest success Voigt at the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 when he was with his side's victory in the final against the USSR Olympic champion. He was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in silver for this success.
