Sieghardt Rupp

Sieghardt Rupp ( born June 14, 1931 in Bregenz, Vorarlberg) is an Austrian actor.

Life

Sieghardt Rupp attended the Commercial Academy in Vienna and was followed by a drama training at the Max -Reinhardt-Seminar. In 1954 he made ​​his debut in Klagenfurt. In 1956 he played at the Salzburg State Theater, 1958 at the State Theatre Linz, 1959 he appeared at the Bad Hersfeld Festival and since 1959 he was employed at the National Theatre in Vienna.

At this time he received his first film roles. Due to its pithy voice and his distinctive appearance, he was well suited for rogues roles he represented for example in two Karl May movies, or the spaghetti western A Fistful of Dollars. Sieghardt Rupp became widely known in the 1970s for his role as customs investigators Kressin in the Tatort series of ARD.
