Siegmund Mewes

Siegmund Mewes ( born February 26, 1951) was football player in the DDR - Oberliga for the SC structure / 1 FC Magdeburg and several junior - and B -National player.

Mewes began his career as a football player at the age of seven years at the BSG Rotation in Magdeburg. In 1961 he moved to BSG same building and in 1965 the Oberliga SC Magdeburg building, later 1.FC Magdeburg, delegated. There he went through the youth teams and was also once used during this time in the junior national team of East Germany. After school he started an apprenticeship as an automotive locksmith.
