SieMatic

SieMatic is a medium-sized German kitchen manufacturer based in the East Westphalian city wages in North Rhine -Westphalia, Germany. The company produces on-site wages and supplies more than 60 countries. Current Managing Director Ulrich Wilhelm Siekmann.

SieMatic works with renowned designers such as the Chicago designer Mick de Giulio and received several awards for its timeless and durable design awards. For example, the iF product design award iF International Forum Design Hannover, the GOOD Design Award of the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and the red dot: best of the best of the Design Centre of North Rhine -Westphalia.

History

The company was founded in 1929 by " August Siekmann " in wages / Westphalia on a factory site of 2,000 m² as " August Siekmann furniture works."

Meanwhile, the factory premises know from 75 000 m² of production space and 86,000 m².

Today SieMatic belongs to the parent company August Siekmann furniture Werke GmbH & Co. KG, which indicates a group turnover of around 96 million euros in its annual financial statements for 2009 (2008: € 115 million).

The company prefers processed materials such as wood materials, stainless steel or aluminum. Multiple certificates underline the place occupied environmental protection and responsible action. For example, SieMatic part of community of goods to furniture and carries the Golden M as the RAL quality mark. SieMatic produced with an integrated quality and environmental management system according to the international standards DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14,000. Moreover, the GS seal guarantees safety tested with regular audits and contaminant proof high security. Likewise, the products of SieMatic bear the environmental certification of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
