Siemens SXG75

The Siemens SXG75 is one of the first UMTS mobile phones with integrated GPS receiver.

It was announced in March 2005 by the former mobile phone manufacturer Siemens Mobile and brought to market in the fourth quarter of 2005, BenQ Mobile. Siemens ceased production of mobile phones in the fall of 2005 and sold the naming rights to the Taiwanese electronics company BenQ, whose mobile phone subsidiary, BenQ Mobile was liquidated in early 2007.

In addition to a 2 megapixel camera, the SXG75 has an additional CIF camera for video calling. In addition to the e -mail client, multimedia messaging ( MMS) and a fast XHTML web browser and instant messaging and push-to -talk is supported. The integrated GPS receiver with a GPRS or UMTS internet connection the SXG75 is also a complete and constantly updated navigation system. The pre-installed navigation software from VDO provides visual and audible indications for navigation and it will not need an external GPS mouse more.

Until further notice, there are no routes in VDO. Alternative navigation systems for the example of SXG75 were paid Falk Active Pilot, which was set on April 30, 2010 and the Nav4All, which was discontinued January 28, 2010, as the Navteq maps could not be used anymore.
